John R. Williams, JR.
Food Safety Auditor/President
J.R. Williams joined Food Safety International Inc. as a field sanitarian and auditor. He then became a major shareholder and was named President and CEO. He has carried out many special assignments dealing with sanitation problems for food companies and food related companies throughout the U.S. and Canada. He also works as an International SQF, BRC, and IFS Auditor.
Education: BBA at University of Memphis in 1974. Continued education pursuits include AIB Inspection and Allergin Training in August 2002, Purdue University Food Plant Pest Management April 2001, AIB Certified Sanitarian June 1998, ServiceMaster Management Academy April 1997, Kepnor Tregoe Institute 1990 1992, ITT Operations Management Training in Washington, D.C. 1978. Certified SQF, BRC, IFS International Auditor, 2009.
Work Experience: Started Food Safety International, Inc. in June 2003 as President and CEO. Prior to that, worked for American Institute of Baking (AIB) for 4 1/2 years as a field auditor. Facilities Manager for ServiceMaster at Kroger Bakery. Sanitarian for Wonder Bread for several years in various locations in the U.S. Production Management experience also at Morningstar, Smuckers, and Flavorite Labs. |
